Janie taught high school in Winston Salem and Pinehurst, NC, and earned her B.S. degree in zoology from UNC – Chapel Hill. She moved to Venice to be closer to her daughter. Janie enjoys being able to be outdoors all year round. Her outdoor activities, include swimming, beach yoga, aquafit, fishing, kayaking, tennis, and pickle ball. Janie enjoys playing chess, oil painting, Zumba and getting to know her neighbors who have welcomed her into the community.
